Updates from our ONs |
Our thanks to Class of 2019 ONs Nihal Dhillon and Ellie Mills for sharing some valuable advice with pupils during this year's National Apprenticeship Week. We are using the challenges of 2020/2021 as an opportunity to do things a bit differently, and Nihal and Ellie were both able to share virtually some extremley valuable information about apprenticeship programmes to help pupils understand the opportunities that are available.
As our Apprenticeship Awareness Programme at school continues to grow, we are looking forward to working with more of our degree apprenticeship ONs including Sam Bromwich, Jack Morrow, Charlie Ensor, Sastin Codling Loidi and Harry Pennells, who are all at different stages of their apprenticeship journey.
We would love to expand our online careers advice with the help of our alumni so that our pupils can hear about different industries, professions and occupations. They'd like to know what A-levels or degree you studied, what made you choose your career, what you enjoy most – and least – about your job, and what a typical day is like. They want to get a sense of whether your profession might be right for them.
If you are willing to share what A-levels or degree you studied and any careers advice you may have, we'd love to hear from you. We could arrange a pre-recorded video, a live virtual presentation or a chat with a Q&A session, so please do get in touch with our new Head of Careers, Sonya Wilson.
