Our dedicated group of music-loving parents, Adams FM, have been working with the department for years to raise the money for a concert-standard piano by hosting concerts, quizzes and events. The target was helped over the line by one of our ONs - Adam Harper from the class of 2008.

Following school, Adam initially joined the Royal Marines Band Services as a pianist. He then became involved in several business start-ups. He then combined these two interests and set up his own piano retail business – Pianoz.com. They have supplied pianos to pop stars, Hollywood films and concert pianists. When he saw that Adams FM was fundraising for a high-quality piano he was keen to help and sourced them this exceptional, hand-built Yamaha SU131 for a fantastic price. He said, “I hope it brings many years of inspiration to the next generation of musicians coming through the school.”

The music department have given the piano a thorough testing and are delighted that they finally have a piano worthy of the talent in the school.
