Catching up with ON Chris Hose

A recent visit by ON Chris Hose co-incidentally fell exactly fives years from the opening night of his last school show - Guys and Dolls!

It was wonderful to be able to catch-up with Class of 2017 ON Chris Hose, who kindly returned to school in the summer of 2022 to talk to pupils interested in studying Law at Cambridge.

Chris completed his undergraduate law degree with the University of Cambridge in 2021 and moved straight on to a PhD, still in Cambridge. When we caught up with him, he'd been busy preparing his first-year paper alongside some teaching work and access/outreach work plus secretary duties for the college's graduate union, SBR.  He's enjoyed being actively involved in the faculty's private law centre, giving a talk to senior faculty members on an area of his research, and has also picked up a 'best speaker' prize along the way whilst presenting the same topic at a national law conference at UCL.

Chris also completed his apprenticeship with the Haberdashers in July 2021 and is now a Freeman of the Company. He says he is always very happy to help and to be contacted by others for career and university advice - many thanks Chris.
