Old Novaportan Nihal Dhillon, Class of 2019, has achieved many successes whilst working as an engineering apprentice for JCB.

As well as being crowned Rising Star of the Year at the 2021 National Apprenticeship Awards, Nihal has now won the JCB Apprentice Challenge for his design of the livery of the canoe which will be used by the Team GB Olympian, Adam Burgess.

Adam has been a JCB-sponsored athlete since 2020 and he set the JCB apprentices the challenge of a new design for his canoe. We are delighted to discover that Nihal came up with the winning design, inspired by the world's fastest tractor! Congratulations Nihal!
