The challenge was launched by ON Nick Jenkins and has run successfully for a number of years; each year pupils have amazed the judges with their innovative ideas and the enthusiasm they have shown for the project. The Dragon would need to tell pupils a little about themselves and their route to becoming an entrepreneur before setting a challenge to create their own business plan. Pupils would then work in teams to create their business, develop a business plan and create a financial forecast before the top teams are invited to present their plans to the Dragon or Dragons who then chose the winning team. The Dragon will be required in school on the 6th February to launch the challenge to the year group and the 19th March to judge the finalists.
