On Thursday 23rd March, we held our hugely successful careers fair at which students from senior years could explore the options open to them – with stalls from across many sectors including the armed forces, financial, engineering, medical, outdoor learning, design and law. We even had a huge JCB tractor parked outside Paddock Hall!
The students were able to learn about different routes into their chosen career such as apprenticeships, degrees apprenticeships and internships as alternatives to the traditional university-based degree route.
Many of the stalls were hosted by our ONs, who were so generous with their time spent passing on their experience and guidance. Afterwards, there was a tour around school for the participating ONs – which inspired many memories, but also some surprises as to how much the school has changed and grown.
If you would be interested in helping with careers advice in the future, you can register your interest on the ON portal on your profile or contact Sonya Wilson, our Careers Adviser on sonya.wilson@adamsgs.uk.
