Welcome back to our Class of 1983

We have loved being able to welcome back some more of our ONs including our Class of 1983 in September 2021.

Many thanks to ONs Martin Pitchford, Steve Garton and Paul Jennings for getting in touch with us to organise a school reunion for their old school friend from the Class of 1983. It was wonderful to also be joined by a very special guest - former Head of English Mr. Bryan Banks.

Our Talbot House Captain was delighted to be able to meet Bryan who was the Head of Talbot when the House was re-introduced at the end of the 1980s. Luckily for us former Headmaster David Taylor captured all of these changes in his brilliant book, Mr Adams' Free Grammar School, which explains how Talbot was in fact one of three Houses during the period 1948 to 1970, which were then replaced by the creation of Adams and Ward House (Boarders) and Aston and Chetwynd House (Day) until 1989.
