Class of '74 return with a special surprise!

After 50 years, the group reunited outside the Pavilion at Longford. ON Nigel Williams, the main instigator of the event, had organised for everyone to wear matching hats displaying the three cats from the Adams' crest. After perusing past papers from their A Levels, lunch and a look around Longford, which was glorious in the sun, the group then moved on to explore the changes made around the main school site.

After an update from Mr Hickey in the Big School Library, there was then a surprise presentation - a flag of the family crest of William Adams, that had mysteriously vanished from the school on the day that their class left. It was found in remarkably good condition in an attic in an undisclosed location.

The flag will fly above the school for a short while, before it is then taken down and framed to display in reception.
