With schools returning to normal exam conditions for the summer of 2022, we are delighted that our A-level results have continued to be high and to be able to celebrate our best-ever set of GCSE results, with over half of the results falling into the highest bracket - grades 9 and 8.
A-Level Results
A total of 180 pupils completed their A- level studies in 2022, all studying three or more A-level subjects. Overall, the school achieved a 100% pass rate with 51% of A -levels graded A*/A and 74% A*- B grades. An impressive 27 pupils secured a straight set of A* grades in three or more subjects with 7 pupils receiving four A* grades and one of our boarders, Bon Tang, achieving five A* grades.
In addition to their A-levels, 85% of pupils also took the Extended Project Qualification with 29% achieving an A*- A grade.
All 11 of our Oxbridge entrants secured their places at Oxford and Cambridge universities in 2022 and over 80% of pupils secured their first choice university, including the 18 pupils who chose to study medicine, dentistry and veterinary.
Many congratulations to our Class of 2022 and a big welcome to our ON network.
